Cleaning & Maintenance Instruction

Instructions for maintenance and cleaning

To prevent the accumulation of dust and contaminants, which may cause the formation of permanent tasks, it is highly suggested to clean imitation leather regularly. The frequency of maintenance will depend on the environmental conditions to which will be submitted cover Legacy material.

1. In the case of normal use:

Most stains can be removed easily with warm soapy water or non-abrasive detergent solutions offered in trade, such as Formula 409 ®, Fantastik ®, Mr Net ®, followed by rinsing with clean water. Always test a cleaner on an inconspicuous part of the surface before you begin.  The mere act of moderately scrubbing with a brush with medium bristles will suffice to dislodge messy materials accumulated in depressions of textured surfaces. Repeat as needed.

2. Bleach:

You can use bleach diluted (nine parts water to one of bleach [concentration of 10%]). Generously apply the 9: 1 solution with a sponge. Rinse with cold water several times. Repeat the operation if necessary.

3. Antimicrobial and antiseptic cleansing action:

from federal regulation, the user is required to follow the directions on the label for fine antiseptic or antimicrobial.

WOOD FINISH

POLYLAC & TAFISA

POLYLAC*

The POLYLAC finish is an ecological multilayered panel, with the highest scratch- and heat-resistance on the market. It also has the highest gloss level in the industry with a mirror-like reflection. Polylac panels are made by pressing a high-density decorative paper to MDF. A specially developed bio-optimized transparent PET film is then laminated on the surface to protect it from external risk factors. A smart choice for a modern look.

TAFISA*

Tafisa® Canada’s decorative panels (TFL) are manufactured using 100% recycled and recovered wood material. Meticulously selected to create high quality, consistent panels for furniture. HPL panels are manufactured in two steps. The first consists of thermofusing the wear and decorative layers to multiple layers of kraft paper to form a single laminated sheet. Steel press plates are used to create the surface texture. The sheet is then bonded to a substrate (particleboard, MDF or other) by the end-user to create a finished product.
